VARIS’s story of innovation received a huge round of applause

At the public call “Incentives for Research and Development Projects for Recovery and Resilience” co-funded by the EU, VARIS was granted funds for the development of a new, innovative material ULTRA-REC with the highest insulation level and lowest specific gravity with respect to comparable materials in the industry at the global level.

That is why we were invited to the event “Dvojni prehod za trajnostno rast gospodarstva” (Dual transition for sustainable economic growth) on the 7th of February 2024 at the House of the European Union, organised by the Recovery and Resilience Plan in Slovenia. In the panel discussion titled “Zelena naložba v podjetja – modra odločitev?” (Green investment in companies – a wise decision?) Sabina Sobočan, Director, presented our story of innovation as well as the process and positive effects of the green transition. In this way, VARIS is strengthening its reputation as one of the fastest growing export-oriented companies in the construction material industry.
